One of the best things about the Plantronics Voyager Pro is that the noise canceling technology available with this device is second to none. Plus it also comes available with a pivoting boom mic which allows you to switch the headset from one ear to the other very quickly and easily. If you are tired of using it in your right here for whatever reason you can easily pivot the mic to change directions and switch it over to your left ear. This is a great option to have and one you will really enjoy using.

This is one of the best Bluetooth headsets because of its incredibly ultra-slim design. It’s such a lightweight device and so thin and tiny that you hardly even realize that you have it nestled securely in your ear. The device comes fully equipped with its own small charging cradle and it also has a vehicle power adapter in case you ever have to charge it up while you are on the road. This device also has two types of profiles that it supports. The first Bluetooth profile is called the hands-free profile and there is also another profile that you can choose from which is called the headset profile.

Bose Bluetooth Headset

This headset is particularly convenient because it allows you to easily switch to hands-free talking when you happen to be using the earpiece to listen to music. This is a very convenient option for you to have and one that you will truly enjoy because it makes your life so much easier. There is also a omni-directional microphone available to you and this is a hidden microphone that you don’t actually see and you really don’t need to have it directly in front of your lips in order for your voice to go through the microphone. The microphone is actually located in one of the earpieces.

Sennheiser MM 400

This is one of the best Bluetooth headsets that is completely wireless and is very easy to operate. The buttons are called intuitive buttons and you can easily find them right on the right earcup. What’s great about having them there is you can easily raise and lower the volume at your convenience, and you are also able to easily change audio tracks in this exact same location. This is such a smart place to have it where it makes accessing this device such a simple process and one that you will thoroughly enjoy. It’s also really easy for you to answer the phone using this device because all you need to do is touch the main button and it will immediately switch you over to the call while pausing whatever music you happen to be listening to.

This particular headset is really good because it has a lot of incredible features that makes it stand out high above the rest. The thing I like best about this particular headset is that they created it with the comfort of the user in mind. They give you two different options on how you can choose to wear this particular earpiece so this helps out a great deal if you find one way comfortable and the other way not so comfortable. Or you can just switch back and forth which is also another really good option to have.

I find this to be one of the best Bluetooth headsets because it allows you to wear the headset either in the ear hook style or the headband style. Plus this particular headset is very clear when listening to someone talk to you over it. And it is also very clear to the person that you are talking to as well.

Sony Ericsson VH 110

This is the final headset of the best Bluetooth headsets that I will review. The thing I like most about this particular headset is the battery life is really long. You can get up to 10 hours of talk time each and every day off of one charge when you use this particular headset. Another thing that really strikes my fancy is the fact that there are three different earpieces to choose from when making your final decision. I personally like to have a lot of options so being able to choose from three different earpieces felt like a nice choice to have.

Corded Office Telephone Headset vs Plantronics Wireless Headset

When selecting a telephone headset it is important to think about the following:

  • Selecting a corded telephone headset or a wireless headset?
  • Does the telephone have a telephone headset jack?
  • Is a phone headset amplifier required?
  • Are Plantronics telephone headsets compatible with the phone system?

These are some important questions to ask when selecting a compatible telephone headset. We will now go through the process in selecting a corded headset and a wireless headset.

Selecting a Plantronics Wireless Headset:

When selecting a Plantronics Wireless Headset the process isn’t as complex as if selecting a corded telephone headset which we will go over next. Wireless Headsets are compatible with up to 95% of standard office business telephones. Some key variables in determining whether a Plantronics wireless headset is going to work with your business telephone here are some things to look for. Does the telephone handset cord unplug from the office telephone? In most cases they do. Are the numbers in which to dial located on the base of the telephone and not the handset? If answering YES to both questions, the wireless headset will work with the telephone.

Rarely are Plantronics wireless telephone headsets sold without a HL10 handset lifter but in some cases they are. A Plantronics HL10 handset lifter is a device that attaches to the actual office telephone and allows a user to answer the call remotely by pressing the call answer button the wireless headset. The HL10 handset lifter will actually lift the telephone handset to answer the call. The device is extremely convenient for the user because it’s gives them the freedom to answer or hang up a call when away from their desk.

Without purchasing the handset lifter one would have to manually pick up the telephone handset and lay it on their desk. Most find this inconvenient and defeating the purpose of selecting a wireless telephone headset. In order to determine whether the handset lifter is compatible with a desk phone here are some things to look for. Make sure there is a flat surface on the left side of the telephone and there is enough room under the telephone handset to lay fingers underneath. After all has been checked, compatibility is complete and feel free to purchase a Plantronics wireless headset.

Selecting a Corded plantronics headset

When selecting a corded telephone headset here are some things to look for. Does the office telephone have a built in modular telephone headset jack. If so then the selection process became a lot easier. If the office telephone has a built in telephone headset jack then select a Plantronics Polaris Telephone Headset. If the office telephone does not have a built in modular telephone jack, then the telephone headset will require a Plantronics M22 Vista Telephone Headset Amplifier. The telephone headset requires a headset amplifier in order to connect to the phone and power the office headset. The type of Plantronics headsets that are compatible with the Plantronics M22 Vista is Plantronics H-Series office headsets.
